Perillä Pekingissä. Lennolla oli vahan ekstrajannitysta kun terveystarkastuksessa ilmeni, etta yhdella matkustajalla on kuumetta... Meidat lukittiin koneeseen tunniksi ja piti taytella kaikenlaisia lappuja. Kuuden aikaan lopulta paastiin ulos. Matka yliopistolle meni hyvin, kiitos kiinalaisen kaverin ja uuden metron, joka pysahtyy nykyaan kolmen korttelin paassa yliopistosta. Sain huoneenkin suht nopeasti ja paasin lepaamaan, koneessa ei oikein saanu nukuttua.

Iltapaivalla tapasin yllattavan monta tuttua. Talla viikolla on valmistujaisia ja kutsuja tuli heti moniin juhliin. Lamminta riittaa, paivalla oli reilusti yli 30. Nyt lahetaan syomaan vanhaan suosikkipaikkaan.

I’m here! Flight went well and had some exciting moments thanks to one person who had fever. In health check we were sealed in the plane for an hour and had to fill out all kinds of papers. Finally we got out and I was soon on my way to Renda. The new subway line makes it cheap and easy to get there and the nearest stop is 3 blocks from dongmen. I got me a room from second building but this should be temporary until some rooms are free in building 1. In the afternoon sitting on the stairs I saw surprisingly many familiar faces and some of them were quite surprised to see me here. Even the fuwuyan at the lobby remember me! Now it’s time to get some good xinjiang food and maybe stop by in propaganda.
